Add milk, sugar, honey, lemon, or other flavorings as desired.
Remove the Tea
Remove the tea bag or strain the leaves promptly to prevent bitterness.
Steep the Tea
Pour hot water over the tea leaves or tea bag. Steep for the correct time:
Black tea: 4–5 minutes Green tea: 2–3 minutes
White tea: 3–4 minutes Oolong tea: 3–5 minutes
Herbal tea: 5–7 minutes

Adjust the quantity based on your taste preference.
Pre-Warm the Teapot or Mug
Pour a little hot water into your teapot or mug and swirl it around. This keeps the tea warm longer.
Heat the Water
Heat the water to the appropriate temperature for your tea type:
Black tea: 95–100°C (203–212°F) Green tea: 75–85°C (167–185°F)
White tea: 80–90°C (176–194°F) Oolong tea: 85–95°C (185–203°F)
